Marco G. Ferrari (teaching assistant/instructor/teaching fellow/courses work). During the Department of Visual Arts MFA program to accommodate students' interests in teaching, the University offers paid teaching assistantships in Visual Arts courses. Teaching assistantships are assigned for the academic year (Fall, Winter, Spring) during the preceding Summer quarter. In their last quarter of residence, students are invited to apply for the Visual Arts Teaching Fellowship. Teaching Fellows in the Visual Arts join an academic community around teaching, art making, and professional development, drawing on guidance and support from the Division, the Chicago Center for Teaching (CCT), and the Director of the TF Program for DoVA.
